Monday - June 15th: Additional Training Sessions: "Training Your Next Great DJ" with Mike Walter* Mike will be taking the class through a condensed version of his training program as taught on his DVD "Training Your Next Great DJ" This class will be live application of his teaching methods as you watch Mike work with some newer announcers with his training program
"How To Be A $5000 Entertainer" with Ken Day* Ken will take the class through his training program based on his presentation "How to be a $5000 DJ in any market!"
"Comedy Training" with Stevie Ray* Stevie will be working with the class on some basic of comedy, Improv, and application of these skills in your performances *special training sessions have additional fees. Tickets for additional training will be available after January 1, 2009. Seating for these training sessions are limited to 20 participants

Tuesday - June 16th: You Gotta Get In The Game Billy Cox: 9:00 am Author and speaker Billy Cox brings his powerful message to the DJNC09 of getting in the game and making more sales and greater profits in a sluggish economy.

Hands On Workshops: 1:00 - 2:30 pm: Computer Playback Software (featuring presentaitons on PCDJ, Virtual DJ and MEGASEG) *You are encouraged to bring your laptop to this hands on session

Is this the only show in Minnesota for 2009? Yes, this will be the only show produced by the Disc Jockey News in Minnesota for 2009. This will be our fall show moved to a summer date.
Why did the show change dates? We are moving the date to a summer show to connect with Metro Sound & Light's summer DJ Night Out and additional summer evening entertainment options in Minnesota
What will be new for the 2009 show? Hands On Workshops! We will have a variety of hands on workshops including DJ software, performance training, sales role playing, DMX programming, online event planners, and game show hosting. You can see more of the tentative options when you hit the show workshop survey after purchasing your show pass.
Do all show passes include meals? Yes, all full show passes for 2009 include two lunches and dinner at Metro Sound & Light. One day passes include the meals on that given day
How does the $50 down work? You can reserve your spot at the 2009 show with the discounted rate of $199 with a $50 down payment before December 31, 2008. You are then locked in with the discounted pass rate, and the invoice for the balance payment will be sent to your mailing address by May 1, 2009 and due by May 15, 2009.
